We've had an Evec VEC03 charger installed for about 7 months and are very happy with it. It looks neat and tidy and unobtrusive on the wall under our carport. So far it's proved completely reliable and the app is really useful for controlling and monitoring the charging.The installation process was easy and trouble free. The installer came as scheduled and efficiently fitted and commissioned the charger. He also helpfully assisted with setting up access to the app and testing it with our car. All this included in the price which was the least expensive of all the chargers we looked at.Home charging has proved extremely economical, having arranged an overnight EV tariff with our electricity supplier. We have set the charger to automatically start charging at midnight and end at 7 in the morning - the cheap tariff time period. Thus we just have to plug the car in and leave it overnight and the following morning it will be fully charged at a cost of about an eighth of the cost of the equivalent amount of petrol. What's not to like about that?!Conclusion: an excellent charger, expertly installed and all at a really good price. Highly recommended.
