I recently bought 4 tickets for a event on the platform Oct 2024, for an event which took place on the 30th November 24. Due to a bereavement I cancelled 1 ticket on the website as per the requirements i.e. 7 days before the event. Despite this they cancelled 3 tickets. I then had to contact the promoter to reinstate 2 tickets and just refund 1. To date I am still waiting for my refund of £55.50. I have contacted eventbrite via the website on numerous occasions and also Facebook messaging to no avail. They do not answer any communication unless you are going to do business with them. This was evident on Facebook. There you can see there are numerous complaints about this business yet they are able to keep trading. I have resorted to PayPal to see if I can get my money back. Oh I forgot to mention. It is virtually impossible to get in contact with anyone at eventbrite.
