They do not verify the person submitting a request owns the phone number provided. A simple text or call with a code would prevent issues. It is pretty much a business standard nowadays to verify ownership of a phone number or email. Now I am receiving multiple calls from multiple companies for a name and vehicle that I do not own. So basically, if you dislike someone and want them to get tons of calls and texts just put their number into Everquote's system. If I were a business owner I would not pay them for leads. Clearly the leads are not verified due to bad business practices. Start doing your research and you will see that this is not the company to do business with. Just look at the reviews here on trust pilot.
