This experience was a birthday present from my daughter and I was really looking forward to it. The onsite organisation was, however, shambolic. My drive in an E-type was due to happen at 1pm. I was told that they were running 30 minutes late (fine), but despite checking regularly the wait got longer and longer. Instructors for the car seemed to disappear for breaks and no one seemed particularly bothered. I eventually found the chap who seemed to be in charge who managed to move an instructor from a different car to take me out, but this was 75 minutes after my due time. A real shame. The car (and yes I know it was 55+ years old) was showing its age.
