Extremely disappointing experience from start to finish.
Every room made my sectional with the wrong fabric, which left me sitting on the floor for months while waiting for it to be corrected. When the couch was finally delivered, it arrived via a filthy and unprofessional delivery service. My couch is white, and the delivery team did not remove their shoes despite my off-white carpets. As a result, my brand-new couch had visible dirt and hand stains upon delivery.
The delivery situation was completely unacceptable. The delivery team’s card machine did not work because they claimed they “forgot to charge it.” They then asked to plug in and charge their credit card machine in my apartment for over an hour, which I allowed. Two hours later, it finally worked. I was forced to wait around past 10:30 PM for payment to go through while they remained in my home. This entire ordeal was shared with the Every room team afterward, and they did absolutely nothing to address it.
The quality of the couch itself is also poor. The fabric sags and ripples after sitting, even though I am the only person who uses the couch. I’ve had family over briefly (for about an hour total), and this couch is brand new, yet it already looks worn.
I have sent over 15 emails requesting a fix. For four months, I was passed around by email with no resolution. I was explicitly told that a technician would be sent to fix the issue, a promise made by the salesperson in Abbotsford (who I believe may be the owner). After waiting four months, I was suddenly told the cushions are “normal wear and tear” and asked to resubmit another ticket, essentially starting the process all over again.
This has been exhausting, frustrating, and completely unacceptable for a company selling custom furniture. Buyer beware. I would strongly caution anyone considering purchasing from Every room unless they are prepared for poor quality, unprofessional service, and zero accountability.
