I was extremely nervous when I first went to Evo Dental, the receptionist was very friendly and reassured me that I would be very well looked after. My husband and I were taken into a room where a nurse came in to chat to me and take down my details before she took us up to see the dental surgeon who was smiling as he introduced himself to us. He introduced his nurse who asked me to sit in the dental chair. After the surgeon checked my teeth and gums and photos taken of my jaw he said he could do the treatment required.After having my free consultation I came away feeling quite relaxed nerves had left me.I spoke to my daughter and son and both encouraged me to have the treatment done as did friends.One of my friends had already had her teeth done there a couple of years ago, she looked amazing and the treatment had given her so much confidence.Any worries or questions I had were quickly resolved when I phoned Evo Dental up. I agreed to have the upper and lower jaw implant treatment done and was given a date of 8th May 2025.On the 7th May we had an overnight stay as we had to be at Evo Dental for 8am.I was very nervous when I first arrived with my husband we were taken into our room. When I went up and sat back in the dentists chair my heart was racing the nurse was lovely and relaxed me. I can honestly say I didn’t remember or feel all my teeth being removed the sedation had done this.I was taken back down to my room and sat with my husband while my temporary implants were being made. The nurse came in regularly to check how I was doing and giving me medication when needed also ice cream.When it was time to go back upstairs to have my implants fitted I was feeling nervous I think mainly because I was worried what they would look like and if I’d chosen the right shade too. After they had been fitted I was handed a mirror after a couple of deep breaths I turned the mirror round and looked in amazement I was lost for words both the dental surgeon and the nurse smiling down at me waiting for my response. They were so good I couldn’t wait to go back down for my husband to see them, he loved them. It had been a very long day and I did have some pain that was managed with paracetamol. I had little swelling around my face and some bruising under my chin which I expected.My confidence has grown and yes I’m smiling so much more now without covering my hand over my mouth.I would certainly recommend Evo Dental the staff are so friendly and the aftercare is very good.
