This company are utterly and totally useless. I find it hard to believe that this company ever got a licence to operate in the UK. Evri are the worst deliver company I have ever dealt with. I make a number of orders from various sources and when I see that Evri are the delivery company my heart sinks. I live in a flat which is gated and fenced all the way round. I have provided entry codes for the gates. I have provided entry codes for the flats, i have included my phone number on the delivery instructions. Yet still Evri drivers make no effort whatsoever to deliver parcels. I have been outside and watched an evri driver walk ro the entry gate literally push the gate which won't open and walk away with the parcel. I once challenged a driver and said I put all the instructions. This driver told me "unless the instructions are leave with neighbour or leave behind bin... we don't read them, we don't have time." When you complain you have a ridiculous chatbot to navigate who just hangs up if it can't find your package. When you what to take the matter the matter further the chat bot has "technical issues" in the unlikely event you do manage to get past the chatbot. If you ask for a phone call reply, you get and email from Claire. If you ask for an email you get an email from Claire. Claire has answered all my complaints about this incompetent company and I have made many, only through sheer perseverance did I get past Chatbot. Every single email from Claire with no exception are word for word exactly the same. I believe that Claire is just another level of Chatbot. In no case has Claire helped me. She cannot escalate my complaint, she cannot take further details and she can never find any further information about my complaint. This company I believe is a scam. It is run by God knows who and is franchised out to the local drivers who are essentially their own bosses. On one occasion my package was sent back to sender. So I went mad after many complaints and reviews about this company. Claire could not find my package and she could not escalate it. She is very good at apologising. So we re ordered and our original order turned up and was delivered by Evri. Well I use the word delivered loosely. It was thrown over the fence. By the driver and was lying on the ground about 70-80 metres away from my flat door. I then got a message saying "good news we have delivered your package". There was a click box that said "is there a problem with your delivery" so I clicked it fully intent on making yet another complaint about this woefully inadequate company, and I end up..... with the chatbot. The thing is I have added the same instructions to Amazon, DPD and Royal Mail and I have no issues, their drivers follow the instructions. One Evri driver must have read the instructions as he phoned me, to tell me that the delivery instructions I put on took him to another building. So I opened the Evri page and read my instructions out as I wrote them and to my absolute surprise these instructions took the driver directly to my front door. Before I could ask who I can talk to in Evri the driver hung up. When I tried calling him.back the number was unrecognised. How can you return a call on mobile for the call to be unrecognised. So many parcels I have ordered have been sent back to sender only never to return back to the sender. I now believe that Evri steal the goods, or sell them on themselves to make money. I cannot express it enough stay away from this company, they are rogues, carpetbaggers, fraudsters and you will loose your package and your money if you entrust anything to these lovers, and my experience is based on many incidents with them not just a single incident. To Claire I ask prove you are human and not just an alter ego of chatbot.
