Not sure where to start really

Not sure where to start really. EVRI are the courier of choice for Easylife. I purchased a table for my disabled mother only to find it not suitable. I rang Easylife to arrange collection. A date was duly picked and all they could say was the item would be collected between 8am and 8pm. I waited and by 9.45pm I knew they were not coming. There had been no communication from Evri at all. Easylife arranged another collection with Evri and I paid £10 for the privilege.Late on collection day they sent me a collection window, later still they sent me another collection window which was later that day. Great I thought. I went on to the tracking link only to find that my collection was no longer required!!!. There was no name mentioned or reason given. I called Easylife, they had no explanation and could see none on the system they use for connecting to Evri. I did hope they would call someone and ask but they did not. They did say they would investigate. I asked them to let me know the outcome. They were sympathetic and refunded the £10 paid for collection but they would not refund me the cost of the table because their courier screwed up. They duly made another appointment to have the table collected by Evri and yet again I waited and waited. This time like the first time there was no communication with regard to a time frame or anything they just did not turn up. Easylife say no refund until item is back in the warehouse,no speaking to supervisor or manager as there isnt one there and I could arrange to have to item collected myself or they could make another appointment to have it collected by Evri. I sent it back at my cost. Was way too angry with Easylife and them not taking responsibility or even talking to their courier Evri. This is not the first time I have had an issue with Evri. Saying item has been left in reception when I live in a terraced house or saying item left with resident when it has not been. Strangely I heard from the local post office that Evri did not have enough drivers to be able to pick up items for them for 4 days and it took them 4 days to find out the reason. Evri did not offer or volunteer that information. I for one would have a lot more respect for them if they were honest and truthful. Right now I have no respect for them at all.
