We had an annual travel multi-trip insurance finishing at the end of October 2024 to include Asia and Australia. We are in our seventies, so it cost quite a bit more than such plans did a few years ago, but seemed comparatively reasonable. Most companies seem to really rack up the premiums and put you through an inquisition, even if you are just taking something very basic or preventative such as statins, which seems very unfair! It was relatively easy to book. The company keeps you informed with lots of chatty emails (almost too many!) but at least you are kept up to date and there are some useful tips. Fortunately we did not have to make any claims during the twelve months, so cannot comment on that side. We are planning a couple of trips to Europe this year and may use them again. It would be good if they could offer some sort of no-claims discount for customers who book again.
