How do we hold companies like this accountable? I placed an order for a playground set for my grandchildren totaling $997.00. Although the charge was successfully processed on my Visa card, I never received an order confirmation, receipt, or delivery estimate.
I have repeatedly contacted the company through their online chat system to inquire about my order. Each time, I am told that the order will be dispatched “tomorrow,” yet this response has been given daily without any follow‑through. When I requested clarification or challenged the lack of progress, the chat window abruptly disappeared from the website.
Fortunately, I took a screenshot of the order at the time of purchase, which I have since provided to my bank while disputing the charge. The bank’s investigation is ongoing, and I am hopeful for a resolution.
This experience highlights the need for stronger oversight and accountability to protect consumers from companies that appear to take payment without providing goods or meaningful support.
