It is completely acceptable to generate most of your income from ads, especially if you're providing a service such as Fandom. However, when you blatantly allow ads to forcibly redirect you from your page with no way to close the ad... then there's a huge problem. Based on my research on this issue it was of some surprise that Fandom is notorious for knowingly allowing this to happen. The redirect ad is 100% not allowing you to use their site to read wiki's. If you back button out, you are sent two pages back.. and if you click back into an article the ad immediately intrudes again. Rinse and repeat... this has been happening for a week... and any response I've met from Fandom is apathetic at best. So... not that it'll affect Fandom nor will they care but I'll never use the site again. Couldn't if I wanted to but even if they are bothered to fix this infuriating issue I still wouldn't use them anymore. They allow this to happen far too often with zero cares to give. What a shame
