I am losing my hair and have been considering having a transplant for some time. It’s not easy trying to research professionals in this area as there are so many to choose from. Not knowing any other female who has had a transplant only exacerbated my frustration at sourcing someone l could trust. After a lengthy internet search linked to female hair loss l contacted the Manchester Branch of The Farjo Hair Institute.After l completed their online form l was contacted by their Patient Manager Cheryl Iglesias and asked to forward much more detailed information and images of my hair. Shortly afterwards Cheryl rang to say that it was possible that l have Frontal Fibrosing Alopecia and, if that proved to be the case, a transplant would not be possible. She went on to suggest that l visit my GP for a referral to a dermatologist. Having researched FFA l am very sure that l have this condition but will await a proper diagnosis. I have spoken to Cheryl again and been so very impressed by her professionalism, knowledge and advice. It may be that in the long-term the Farjo Hair Institute will not be able help with my condition. However, Cheryl’s sensitivity, care and interest in my problem has been exceptional and reflects well on the Institute. In my opinion if you, like me, are looking for help with hair loss then look no further than this Institute.
