I placed an order with FastFilings on September 20th to obtain a New York Sales Tax Permit. As of October 20th, I have received nothing.Their email responses are generic and unhelpful — they cite “processing times” and “government delays,” but the State of New York typically issues this permit within days when filed directly through the official portal. FastFilings adds no value; they simply take your money and vanish behind automated replies.After researching further, I found dozens of similar complaints on the BBB and Trustpilot — consistent stories of unfulfilled orders, misleading claims, and refund refusals. The positive reviews appear suspiciously fake and templated.For anyone reading this:✅ File your permits directly through your state’s official site.🚫 Do not give FastFilings your payment information.💳 I’ve filed a dispute with my Credit Card company and reported them for deceptive business practices.And before FastFilings posts their predictable reply — claiming they “don’t have this customer on file,” or that I must have “bad credit,” a “negative filing,” or “failed to respond to emails” — let me be clear: my order was placed under my real legal name, and I have complete documentation of the transaction, payment, and correspondence to prove it. I’m using my public name here for privacy. None of their usual excuses apply. The truth is simple: this company routinely fails to deliver the services it promises, then attempts to discredit legitimate customers rather than resolve their complaints.
