I ordered a shirt as a birthday gift for my nephew. The parcel was left on the front doorstep and was stolen. Despite a delivery photo showing the parcel on a doorstep, when I asked the seller to file a complaint with the delivery service, they insisted it had been delivered. When I followed up, they claimed the delivery service wouldn’t refund it, even though I know they would in this case. I requested proof that they raised a complaint, but they stopped responding to my emails after several weeks of follow-up. The delivery service requires the seller to initiate refund requests for stolen items, which means I'm now out £35 and had to buy a replacement gift elsewhere.
