I bought 6 T-shirts from Fincut recently. Having not bought from them I used their size guide which suggested XL. This surprised me a bit as I normally wear a Large but I appreciate some brands come up smaller than others. Received the T-shirts and unsurprisingly, they were the wrong size. When I contacted Fincut they were happy to exchange but I was told I had to cover the cost of returning the T-shirts, this will be between £15-20 because they do not offer free returns from the UK. No goodwill gesture offered as a first time customer, who used their guide which was wrong. For context I’m 180cm tall and average build. To be fair to Fincut, their response time and communication is good. Having seen and received the T-shirts (£90 for 6) that seems a fair price. Similar quality to an average to better than average high street retailer. This was in their sale, proper price should be £200 for 6, and if you buy and that price I think you will be very disappointed. Unlikely that I’ll be buying from Fincut again, mainly because of their inflexibility. Obviously saving on the cost of a return is more important than leaving a new customer with a positive experience.
