I obtained a First Progress card in 2018 as one element in a strategy to improve my credit score. I no longer need, or use, the card and have cancelled my account (July 1, 2024). The user agreement specifies a ten week delay until the security deposit is returned. I phoned First Progress and was advised that expedited return is available upon submission of a letter or a fax. I have followed the procedure but the company is ignoring my request. On a follow-up phone call, I was referred to the ten week policy. I have submitted 6 requests by fax but the company is silent.This is a disreputable and anti customer centric organization.
