Very poor service network

We have a Fisher Paykel refrigerator with freezer draw that is freezing our food tgat should be at 4 degrees. 2 weeks ago we were given a 4 week service appointment! Customer service said they would prioritise us but nothing yet. Why is there no useful or functional service in the UK? Very frustrated and disappointed. Engineer arrived promptly on the new earlier date. The problem was fixed quickly. Still a little disappointed that I had to fight for a quicker response but maybe next time it will be better. All good in the end
