I am very disappointed! I bought a jacket in preparation for an upcoming hiking trip in late September. It fit well, looked nice, and felt warm and cozy, so I stored it until I needed it. Imagine my dismay last week when it ripped on the second day of my trip in rural Ecuador, after just brushing against a twig on a trail. Insulation spilled out everywhere, and I had to tape it up for the rest of the trip. I have had jackets last over a decade before, so for this to happen within 2 days seems unbelievable. I have requested a replacement or refund, as I don't find this level of durability acceptable. Maybe these jackets aren't meant for outdoor use?
