The city as a whole is all in need of gentrification. The biggest problem with buying in Detroit is once you add up all the expenses for a house such as security, Reno, appliances, etc the deal will never pencil out on paper. You end up becoming an accidental landlord. If you are ok with that then go for it if not FLIPSYSTEM is not for you. Be ready to hold the house for the long haul and also be ready to loose money in carry costs. The houses definitely do not sell as fast as they say they do.
