I used the FLO app to find a charging station near me. It directed me to one that was on private property. The station was not marked as private, and the FLO app allowed me to initiate a charge. I was then informed by an employee that I wasn't permited to charge and they shut the power off. I informed FLO about this and they said it wasn't their problem as the charger was owned and operated by ChargePoint, and that I should call them for service. The thing is, THE FLO APP BROUGHT ME HERE. I contacted ChargePoint and they confirmed that the station was not for public use.The FLO app has brought me to stations that are either not working, private, or failed to charger on multiple occasions in the past year. If EVs are to be adopted, stuff like this needs to be addressed.I've learned that PlugShare is the app to use to find a charging point.
