First of all, I was not confident that I could play the flute. But as I got guided feedbacks and help at every step, it helped me increase my confidence. Consistent practice is the key is what I learnt. A comment by Harsh Sir during a 1:1 mentor session when he noticed me tensed is " You have to enjoy playing the flute, not stress about it", made a world of difference. I realised that I wasn't here to prove to others what I am capable of but to ensure that I enjoy the journey without worrying too much of the destination.
