I rarely write reviews, but our experience with FlyNYON New Jersey was so frustrating that I felt it needed to be shared.Our original flight was scheduled for 25 November 2025, but it was cancelled due to rain and weather conditions. That part was understandable. What wasn’t acceptable was the level of service we received throughout the entire process. The staff were unprofessional, unorganized, and at times outright rude, offering little communication or basic courtesy while we stood around trying to figure out what was happening.We were rebooked for 26 November, the day we were flying home. The weather was still poor—foggy enough that the helicopter had to fly lower than usual—but at least the flight went ahead and we got some of the experience we paid for.However, the biggest disappointment came from the “doors-off, legs dangling” upgrade, which we paid extra per person for. Once boarded, I was able to sit in a seat where I could dangle my legs as promised, but my partner was placed next to a solid steel door, making it completely impossible for him to do so.Since the entire experience was mainly for his benefit, I asked if we could swap seats. The answer was a blunt “no,” with no attempt to help or offer an alternative solution. It was incredibly upsetting to realize that we had paid for something my partner couldn’t even experience, due entirely to their seating arrangement—not anything stated during booking.To make matters worse, when I asked about a partial refund for the upgrade he couldn’t use, I was told this wasn’t available. No apology, no compensation, nothing. Just “no.”Overall, the combination of poor service, lack of care, and refusal to refund an experience we were charged for but only half received has left a very bad impression. The flight itself could have been great, but the way we were treated overshadowed everything.I would not recommend FlyNYON New Jersey. The experience feels chaotic, customer service is lacking, and you may not get what you paid for—yet still be denied a refund.
