I recently hired Flyp to refurbish my property in preparation for selling, and I must say, my experience has been quite disappointing. While I had high hopes for their service, I found the communication to be lacking, which made the entire process frustrating.They rented the property out whilst it was on the market they charged me a 40% management fee which is never clearly stated before contracts are signed. If any problems occurred in the property they charged ridiculous amounts to fix. For example the toilet was blocked from someone they rented to, it leaked to the downstairs. They charged me £850 to unblock a toilet then I had to pay for the ceiling in the below flat to be painted as they wouldn’t take responsibility.From the start, it was difficult to get clear updates on the progress of the work.When I did manage to reach out, responses were slow and sometimes vague, leaving me more confused than informed. I was told the furniture was mine to keep numerous times kind of making the high price tag more acceptable but obviously that wasn’t the case once you read the small print.Additionally, I was shocked by the amount I was charged for the work that was completed. The quality and extent of the refurbishment did not match the hefty price tag. I expected a more substantial transformation for what I paid, but it felt like minimal effort was put into the project.I have lost a lot of money using this company they are still chasing me for a small amount if money I refuse to pay even though they have had over 15k from me, for a refurbishment that my 94 year old Nan could do better. I tried to reason and come to solution but it is all one way, just money hungry.Overall, I would not recommend Flyp if you're looking for reliable communication and value for your investment. It’s disappointing to see such potential wasted, and I regret choosing them for my property refurbishment.I had to redo most of the work, so it cost me double please be careful before instructing this company.
