After several days, they finally provided a hire car. However, the collection of my vehicle was mishandled, leading to additional damage. Following many disputes, it was confirmed that the vehicle was written off for an amount that seemed suspicious. The representative misrepresented multiple facts, and an investigator later verified my claims. The damages occurred while in the service's possession, along with misleading statements from their total loss team. After numerous attempts to reason with their team, it became clear that this situation required escalation to an ombudsman. I strongly recommend that anyone facing a total loss situation engage an investigator and be cautious with the representatives involved.
