I'm reaching out to see if anyone else is getting blindsided by FoodMarble's new subscription model.
I recently picked up the device for $299 USD. When I purchased it, there was absolutely zero mention of a mandatory monthly subscription to access the core functionality. Now, I've just seen an unauthorized **A9.00 charge** on my card for a sub I never signed up for.
I did a quick check on the Wayback Machine, and sure enough, the site in December had no mention of this requirement.
charging $300 for hardware and then using my credit card details afterwards without my approval is shady as hell. It feels like I've bought a brick that requires a monthly ransom to actually work.
Warninh anyone else thinking of dropping 300 bucks on this right now. Be careful
