I signed up for 3 years of Motley's "Canada Pro" service. Initially they had pretty regular information updates, stock recommendations, etc. At times, that 'flow' of information tapered off. Many of their recommendations which I followed in a timely fashion turned out to be just bad advice. After 2 years most stocks Motley CA recommended, which I bought, are down while the market is very high. THEN the IMPORTANT problem arose. They cancelled the "Pro Canada" service after 2 years. They announced this with emails which were very sneakily and obscurely worded indicating that I should log in to receive some important info. They send so much junk mail I didn't read carefully or notice anything unusual from their unclear subjects. So I never noticed that I was due 1 year worth of refund. You can say it was my fault I wasn't watching carefully enough. But they NEVER FOLLOWED UP to advise that I had a $650 credit available. So they would have pocketed that money. 6 months later I figured out they had closed the service and asked for a refund, which they say they will give. The problem is, if I had not noticed, they would have pocketed my $650 . Very sneaky, I feel betrayed and will never trust them again.Again, their recommendations performed so poorly. Also they closed a 'flagship' service. Be very wary & watchful if you use them.
