I am reporting a case of systematic consumer deception. On March 5th, I purchased a pair of Puma Speedcats for €45, which were originally priced at €109.99. After holding my funds for 6 days, Foot Locker unilaterally cancelled the order due to "stock issues". This cancellation stripped me of a €65 price advantage that I legally secured. This is clearly not an isolated incident but a habitual business practice. A close contact of mine recently ordered 3 different pairs of shoes, and all 3 were cancelled for the same reason after several days. It seems Foot Locker habitually sells items they do not have, holding customer funds for nearly a week before cancelling.Furthermore, their compensation policy is inconsistent. While I was told €30 is the "absolute maximum", the aforementioned contact received a 50% discount for the same error. They have also completely ignored my formal legal notice (PEC) even after the 7-day deadline. I have now filed formal reports with the AGCM and Altroconsumo regarding these unfair and systematic commercial practices.
