I had separated from my ex partner in September 2025 Forbes was recommended to me as they deal with TOLATA having called them I spoke to Tom and explained my case he quoted £1800 plus vat and assured me t that I’m entitled to a 50 percent split On contacting them again 3 weeks later I spoke to Dawn Gardner and explained my situation the price went up £2000 plus vat Being in a desperate situation that I was in going to lose financially a lot of money I had no choice as to trust them how wrong could be in doing this one letter was sent and a chaser left was sent as there was no response to the first letter £5000 in and they wanted another £30.000 pounds plus more to put the charge on the property Having called another 2 more solicitors for further advice they both told me the full circumstances and told me there honest opinion that I will not win as my name is not on the deeds there and there is no way a judge would take your side ? Why was this not explained I feel like you have took more advantage of me than my ex partner and led me on to believe that I have a case
