Massively disappointing that after 8 months of working on the sale of my property we received confirmation from Forbes that everything was in place to complete. Then at the eleventh hour when we were in the process of agreeing a completion date, they realised that they had provided incorrect documentation. To exacerbate matters, we were able to return new signed documents within two days, whilst Forbes still don’t have the documentation completed. Hugely annoying that such a rudimentary error could have occurred and even more disappointing that urgent steps have not been taken to rectify. My transaction is on the verge of falling through and Forbes just don’t seem to care.19/04 updateThree weeks later and Forbes remain unresponsive, still haven’t rectified their error and have tried to claim this is not a genuine case.
