Unfortunately I'm in NY and my mom is Pa., so i could not document her reaction. She is legally blind so i sent it to my sister to play for her.
My sister then texted me that my mom was crying. It moved her.
Then my mom called me. I was worried b/c her last name was mispronouced in the song and she is a stickler for proper pronounciation & spelling of the family last name, however, the song was so great she didnt care about that at all.
She called me and went in & on about how much she loved not only the sum & substance of the words, but also the delevery. She praised the singer and asked for the person's name, which I do not have, unfortunately.
My mom kept saying later for a card, this is the perfect Mother's Day gift, although i kept telling her, everyday is mothers' day. I guess i have to get another for mothers' day.
Do you create videos? Id like to get another song for mothers day with a video. I can send puctures n videos of her .
Overall, its an experience she will remember & feel for the rest of her life. Remember, she is legally blind so she relies on her hearing , mostly. Voice, words, melody, candence, sum & substance, instruments, and delivery are her pet peeves.
