I reached out to this company to try and retrieve funds. After sending them my evidence for the funds to be retrieved, they sent me a report showing me the paystring where the funds were currently being held. They said they could extract approx 150k which would get transfered to a defi wallet and they would require 7% of the funds recovered plus $2,000 to start the recovery process. I explained that since I have already been scammed I needed to see there credentials which they refused to provide due to "confidentially". After some further searching, I also found a website knoxclaim.com which looks exactly like forteclaim.com. I offered to pay them $4000 plus the 7% if all the funds could be taken from the recovered funds which they refused. After a few emails back and forth, they stopped responding when I wanted answers to questions about there report. Be careful with this company or any other company stating they can recover crypto funds. Most of them are scammers.Response. They had me communicate thru an app called signal and I initially communicated with them/you thru the chat window on the website. forteclaim.com has no address of where the business is located nor does it list any credentials of there supposed recovery abilities. When I asked for credentials and where the business was located i was told they dont list it for security reasons. I have no problem dealing with you directly thru email if you can proof you are a legitimate crypto funds recovery company. I will not give any upfront payments or go thru any crypto wallets claiming to have secured funds as this is a clear scam.
