Fortis has been a good option for our child. The special care for special needs children is unbeatable. However, our opinions of discipline vary greatly.
Fortis tries to keep the student at school ad much as possible, understandably. However, certain issues, like hitting, kicking, spitting, and biting should be reprimanded more harshly. I have had multiple people try to talk me out of picking my child up when they have chosen to behave in such a manner.
Overall, Fortis has lots of family oriented events and they truly try to keep the Fortis Family involved in the children's education. The deans, principal, and staff members really get to know the students and it is a much more welcoming environment for the children than most of the schools in the area.
