I bought a lifetime subscription but it doesn't work after five years. I sent them a letter and they just said they had informed me. If you don't respond, it means you agree to the policy change.Here is their reply~While the license is perpetual, at some point we were forced to change policy with regard to access and abuse of our facility that was possible, yet illegal, under the previous good faith conditions we offered. You have been informed of the change of policy with regard to services and had the option to refuse them. You accepted on 2022-06-03 and were provided with access to upgraded and more feature-rich versions of the application you purchased.The activation of the copy you have is only to access the online services that FileZilla Pro offers on a subscription basis, which obviously includes the access to new versions of the same program, a service you subscribed at no charge on -- as an existing customer -- to and which is expired on 2023-10-02.While we do not recommend installing or using outdated software versions you might have from before accepting the Terms and Conditions—due to known security vulnerabilities addressed in more recent releases FileZilla Pro —if you choose to proceed, please do so at your own risk and liability.
