My mother contacted Four Seasons Heating and Cooling on 01/26/2026 for a water leak. What should have been a simple service call turned into them replacing her boiler—something that was not needed.
The technician arrived at 8:00 a.m. and instead of shutting the water off, allowed it to continue leaking for approximately three hours while he tried to determine “how my mother’s credit was” so they could charge her for additional work. He even made the comment, “Oh, there is no way you could afford this in cash,” which was extremely inappropriate and unprofessional.
After being pressured into purchasing a new boiler costing nearly $17,000, her tenants were left with NO HEAT because the job was not completed correctly. A second technician had to come out to bleed the old pipes and stated that the original work was done incorrectly.
I was on the phone during a call with customer service and had to take over because of how rude and disrespectful they were toward my mother. Once I took over the call, their tone immediately changed. This entire situation has caused my mother extreme stress and has made her physically ill, so I have been the one handling all communication.
Each time I call, I am forced to explain the situation again to a different customer service representative, which is incredibly frustrating. Another technician was sent out on 02/12/2026, and once again I was told the job was done incorrectly. That technician stated he would order parts and return on 02/16/2026 to fix everything properly, even saying he would do the job “as if it were his own house.”
I also had the city inspector come out because the work was done without a permit, and the inspector confirmed the job was poorly done and appeared incomplete.
On 02/16/2026, I took yet another day off work only for a different technician to show up. He informed me the previous technician was off that day, that he was only there to inspect the job, and that he did not have any parts. After calling customer service again and finally reaching the person assigned to this claim, it became clear that even they were not aware of what was happening. The technician confirmed to the representative exactly what he had already told me.
As of 02/16/2026, four technicians have been out and nothing has been resolved. I will now have to take off work again on 02/17/2026 in hopes that the job is finally done correctly.
This entire experience has been exhausting, stressful, and unacceptable. Between the unnecessary replacement, poor workmanship, lack of permits, constant miscommunication, and horrible customer service, this company has given me absolutely no confidence. I would not recommend them to anyone.
