I love Four Seasons Hosting. As a company, they are driven by their owner, who is involved, empathetic, and hungry. Everyone on the staff mirrors this approach.Although primarily positioned as a game server host, I have been using them as a VPS host, and find them competitive with Linode or VULTR, but with the call-em-up and response time of a Rackspace. Every time I've needed flexibility, a custom option, or on-hand solution, I have a response within 24 hours and usually a solution. This lifts a lot of the operational cost for a hobby server that I really don't want to put too much effort into managing.It hasn't been perfect. Over the past two years, there have been disruptions, based on business decisions that were not always signaled well since they rely heavily on Discord as a platform. For example, I did have issues during a server migration, where I had thought there was data loss, but instead it was just that I had checked on the server too early, and the tech team was still doing the migration.Overall, with what feels like a 95% uptime, I wouldn't want them for enterprise needs or small business infrastructure, but that's not what they promise. If you are looking for fast, cheap, personalized hosting for gaming or personal servers, I think Four Seasons is an excellent solution.
