Without a doubt the worst company I’ve ever delt with, After being loyal foxtel customers for nearly 25 years, and paying around $170/month we decided foxtel was no longer providing enough value to be worth keeping, upon ringing them to cancel, they where relentless trying to get us to stay connected they would not take no for an answer it was actually incredibly frustrating, anyways they convinced us to stay connected with a $70 a month plan to see if that suited us, we paid the money and next thing you know our foxtel service is now cancelled we can no longer use any of our boxes of foxtel go and after ringing them around 10 times trying to get this situation sorted and being given the absolute run around everytime, they eventually informed me that my box didn’t exist in the database which doesn’t make any sense whatsoever since it was working perfectly fine prior to this, during this time of tying to get this issue sorted I had daily phone calls from sales people trying to convince me to upgrade my plan and stay connected for longer meanwhile my service still wasn’t even working and I was paying for nothing, another month goes by and unfortunately $70 was paid again but the service still wasn't working so, enough was enough I rang up and demanded a refund and for my plan to be cancelled immediately, only to be told we can only issue a credit, what good is a credit when my service isn’t even working, go figure, then the real kicker I get sent a letter telling me to return my box that supposed didn’t exist in their database hence why they claim it wasn’t working and there was nothing they could do about it but all of a sudden I actually do have a box and they want it back, anyways I told them to come collect it themselves and to finish everything off nicely they sent me a letter claiming I still owed $2.50, I honestly cannot even begin to fathom how this company is still in business absolutely shocking customer service and I’m embarrassed that I was ever a customer of there’s needless to say I’ll never be one again ( I should also add when I was trying to cancel the first time they wanted to know why and I said that Netflix etc was cheaper and better and no adverts etc and their response to me is that Netflix has bad customer service compared to then so I should strongly think about sticking with Foxtel and their good customer service department, what an absolute joke that tuned out to be, absolutely fuming)
