The initial contact with Freedom promised me and my husband a real estate dream. We had poured out to Freedom agent how we got burnt time and time again by real estate investments and scammers. She sounded so sympathetic and had promised Freedom was the real deal and they would never do that to us. Apparently in 3-6 months we would be enjoying passive income from our investment with Freedom. Our financial information was provided and the nice agent advised we could actually afford not one, but 2 properties. We were so excited about the figures they come up with. Of course, I wanted 2 if they provided us more income. The agent even referred us to an 'expert' who had affirmed Freedom's advice of getting 2 properties straight away. Although my husband was not keen, I was ready to take the risk. But thank God, that didn’t happen. My husband and I eventually decided on just 1 property when an independent consultant advised us that given our age, we cannot afford 2 and will struggle with the loans for the rest of our life. Thank God we had listened to this independent advice. Foolishly we went ahead and paid the huge deposit for the one property, hoping that our 'nice' agent will somehow make this one property work for us. Then the long wait. The first 6 months came and went. We waited and waited. Freedom agent started to contact less and less with updates. Then the wait continued for another 6 months. Finally an email appeared with a settlement date a few more months later. But just a few more months to the settlement date, someone new from Freedom emailed the settlement date has changed...extended to another 8 months. The new contact also informed she's handling our matter. What happened to the caring and nice agent we had had from the beginning? Our first agent never mentioned having anyone else to contact. I got more frustrated.I called the agent straight away. She didn't sound the same. Gone is the sympathetic and willing to help tone. She assured, however, the new agent will call to explain and provide an update. That call never came. To date, and to much of our disappointment and frustration, the property dream Freedom had promised is still not realised after 2 years of waiting. So if you’re excited about the dream Freedom is promising, don’t be. We regret so much having come across Freedom Property on Facebook. Save your money and run as far away as possible from Freedom Property. There’s nothing there to get you any close to so-called freedom at all. We are close to retirement. And committing a bulk of that retirement money we’ve worked very hard for, to another deceitful scam like Freedom Property is incredibly painful.
