Bought this on the one week trial (extremely cheap) and it worked perfectly. I ripped down 3 dvd’s to my laptop for viewing later and disposed of the original dvd clutter.Please remember to cancel if you don't want to extend betond the trial period. I forgot but received an immediate refund. I am sure this would be perfect if you had several cd’s/dvd’s to back up. It has several other features but I didnt need to use them.
