I contacted David of Frontier architecture because I was nervous about a new build next to our house. He patiently and honestly explained that the Party Wall Act does not currently apply in our case, but if it were to be triggered later, the developer of the new build would be compelled by law to contact us. This was very reassuring for me to hear and enabled me to see my way forward.
