I purchased one of these robotic dogs that are marketed to mimic a real pet. They bark, sit, walk, jump, and even lick, seemingly just like a real dog. The promotional videos make it look impressive, but it's a complete letdown. The size is absurdly small and unrealistic, and it moves clumsily like a typical toy. This is outrageous, especially for children who expect something different based on the advertisement. With so many challenges people are facing, we truly don’t need such deceptive products emerging from the AI world. There should be accountability for false claims, and I plan to share my experience widely.
