We wanted a new TV provider and decided to try what was billed as a '7 day free trial'. I ordered it on 3/25/25 and marked my calendar while I tried it out. We decided to go with another provider and cancelled on 4/1/25. Charges went on my credit card for $122. I called them and they explained I was a day late due to posting and I would have to pay it. I disputed the amount with my credit card company and found out not only had they charged the basic rate but other several extra services. In the fine print, there is a clause that says the free trial expired on 3/26 which gave us 24 hours of free service. When looking for documentation to show the credit card company, there is no longer a 7 day trial but now there is only a 5 day free trial. It adds that the trial period varies. Apparently that part is true. Make sure you read the fine print.
