I bought a Fucare Libra 750w in 2023 bc i moved and my dog walking business of 17 years starts across town. It was great for 3 mos. First the brakes suck. I had to replace them maybe 8 times since buying it. I ended up installing a Hydrolic system which helped a little. Brakes are a normal issue with e bikes. The problem is THEY DON’T ANSWER PHONE, EMAIL or CHAT. Since i use bike for work i just had to goto a bike shop and take the loss bc i don’t have time to wait for a call that wont come. Also- two weeks ago my display wouldn’t power on when i was leaving for work. I took it into my shop and they won’t touch the electronics bc they don’t have any of the parts that are compatible bc Fucare is all Chinese insides and that’s fine but because Fucare doesn’t answer messaging i had to figure it out myself. In talking with an e bike mechanic, he was able to deduce that it’s the controller, Display and wiring harness. Great! I’ll just order on site. Yay! No. Fucare only has display for sale. I was able to see the type of controller on the site schematics of the bike. So i tried to get it thru other means. I found similar but not quite and my e bike mechanic said i really need to get everything from the manufacture bc the language of the electronics has to match. I finally left a threatening messsge that I’d call the BBB and magically they called me back. Except the guy said the reason it’s not on the site is bc i have to order it directly from him. He asked for my info and then credit card. I first asked “how much is it”? He asked me “how much did you see it for online”? I lied and said i never re saw the price. Then he said “for you i give discount and the more than doubled the price”. Call me crazy but at this point i don’t trust these guys at all and i certainly doubt they care about matching my controller to my bike. The bike is great until you have problems. Unfortunately I’m going to be out over $3000 bc at this point i need to just get a new bike. Even if it gets fixed, I’ll have to go thru this whenever there’s an issue. It’s not worth it. I don’t even know if its worth selling. Prolly not. Fucare sucks so bad. Also i paid for an extended Warranty. Oh and the mechanic said even if we get all the parts, if they didn’t get the correct controller that it could take hours to fix the issue at $100/hr creating an extremely expensive situation. I just need transportation now. Don’t waste your money like i did.
