I purchased a bamboo urn that was very dignified and well-made. This was a "pre-need" purchase. It arrived in about 5 days. The price was about $84 total. A local funeral home in my area suggested an urn that was $700. Since my ashes will be scattered, of what use would a $700 empty urn be to my family? A friend of mine also intends to be cremated, I suggested that he check out the urns and other items on the Funeralwise website.
