New clients from China are categorized under a specific group code that results in extremely high spreads. I've encountered gold spreads of 100 pips on a zero spread account. No details regarding this were shared during the onboarding process; I had to discover it by analyzing tick data myself. I'm truly disappointed with their business practices. I also downloaded the December tick data and exported it to Excel. Not once did the gold spread drop below 30 pips, despite being a zero spread account. I understand that spreads can fluctuate even for zero spread accounts, but the consistently high spreads are not in line with what is typically advertised for such accounts.
