It took them 5 months to complete and launch my website whereupon I was informed that now there was a new expense , that hosting and maintaining it was going to cost another $1700 and it would have to be paid upfront on the day of launch . The invoices I received for both the payment of the actual creation of the website and the hosting both had different names on them , none read Galaxy web studios , and the last one I disputed when I saw it and felt I had been HAD , but the business talked to me and asked that i remove my dispute and my review and assured me they were legitimate. I believed them and went ahead this time and paid the entire amount for the future hosting and maintaining but never got a receipt . Then between the last week of December and into mid January I heard no responses to emails or text messages that were sent . I tried contacting the previous men who had helped with my web design but both of their emails were sent back , postmaster said they were undeliverable so I began enquiring into what I could do about my website and was adviced to find someone else who could host and maintain
It . Of course now I was paying them for what I’d already paid galaxy $1700 to do . All the while I was lead to believe they were located at 80 broad street Brooklyn but they had never been there , now they claim to be in Miami . . I put in a dispute at my bank hoping to get my money back but galaxy wrote that I owed them
This money because I got the product and services they had provided which was not true . I’d paid in advance for the website in May , and this payment which they seem
To have avoided talking with me about was for future services which I felt were never going to happen as they disappeared for weeks claiming my unanswered emails had landed in their junk mail folder ! Strange they did not check the folder like anyone whose clients had paid them in advance to do work for them . I believe they did a beautiful job on creating the website itself , which I did pay for , but the follow up and confusion over who was actually who and when were they going to show up .on 3 occasions id made arrangements to have a call with designer to work things out so we could finally finish the project , it dragged on for 5 months !!!, I always scheduled meetings on a day I had off from my regular job so it was important to get something accomplished on those days but on several
Of those off days the designer , though a friendly young man , he’d disappear . Anyway ,I have requested a pro rated refund as they are no longer the ones hosting or maintains my website so I’ll wait to see if they have the decency to respond and return monies for a service which has NOT been provided
