Been going to PYO over the last ten years. Kids have outgrown it now but wife and I still went as it was always a lovely day out and we got some fun picking fresh veg and fruits. We live in a flat so it also kind of compensated for not having a garden. Anyway, last weekend was probably our last visit. We were shocked to find out at the checkout that they no longer discount the entry charge from the total. We didn’t pick a lot - some beans, a few small heads of cauliflower, some berries, apples, etc. But it came to a staggering £31, and that’s of course on top of the booking fee. ‘You’re having a laugh’ was my initial reaction. Promptly paid up and left, probably never to return again unless they reverse this ludicrous policy change. It’s no wonder they haven’t claimed this page on Trustpilot, but I imagine they do read the reviews and scoff.
