Had a new boiler fitted a few months ago by Gas Safe Hero and found no fault at all with the process, the staff or the work. They replaced my 20 Yr old non-condensing Baxi boiler with a Worcester Bosch boiler. Because of the position of the boiler and waste pipe I also needed a condensate pump and about 10m of pipework up into the loft and across to the back of the house. The initial survey/sales pitch was done by Nathan. Very friendly and helpful..he checked everything and took lots of photos. No pressure sales technique but he obviously wanted the business. He made several offers of discounts and we agreed a price that was slightly lower than another quote I had received. The online companies were a bit cheaper but I prefer dealing face to face so that everyone knows what's needed etc. Nathan also offered a couple of free annual services so the prices were comparable in the end.The installation date was set for the following week. Due to sickness only one engineer turned up on the day. Unfortunately, because of the size of the job (it also included a full system flush) the engineer, Josh, explained that it would take over a day to complete. This was no hardship to me as I'm retired but it may have caused problems for someone else. Josh was a friendly lad too, and explained the process. He worked really hard and left after 6.00pm ensuring that I had a working boiler. He came back the following day and fitted the condensate pump, pipework in the loft and set up the Hive controller. He talked me through the boiler menu and arranged the registration with Worcester Bosch. He tidied up as much as possible and made sure I was happy with everything before he left.So, at the end of the day I got a new boiler, condensate pump and pipework, magnetic filter, shock absorber, online scale reducer, carbon monoxide detector, full powerflush, Hive thermostat and a couple of services for a very competitive price.After a couple of days I noticed some dripping from the end of the flue pipe outside the house. I contacted the company and Josh came out a few days later and adjusted the flue...problem sorted.I should also say that throughout the whole process I was kept informed by messages from the admin staff who were both friendly and helpful...thank you Emma and particularly Lauren who dealt with most of my queries.Sorry for the long review but I hope that I got the message across....need a boiler replaced?...call Gas Safe Hero and I'm sure that you won't be disappointed.
