When the sales rep called yesterday for our initial chat/advice and within the first 3 mins repeatedly says “we are not going to be the cheapest”, and then went on to berate the competition my alert was raised. In my experience, any company should be able to promote their own virtues rather than slate the competitors.He then went into full ‘sponsored by solar edge technology’ sales mode, and then gave a £15k-£20k ball park estimate.No in depth questions asked about our budget, our address, location, aonb/conservation area, shading, roof size. The Sales Rep then went on to tell us that all the other companies we’d spoken to won’t be in business in a few years time and when we said that earlier that day we’d had a quote from a neighbours relative’ company who has a similar business; and we wanted to get competitive, alternative quotes …his response was… “ well, I would get it done by them then”…. WOW, just wow…totally unprofessional, childish response. So, strike one… gechnology…are out… don’t waste my time calling if you don’t want the job….first time dealing with this company and definitely the last.
