Extremely Unethical - All Signs of Scammers

Somehow, this business got my phone number and I accidentally answered the phone call because I am in process of finding business funding from almost 2 dozen other companies that offer this.Well, the guy Cesar was very charming at first as is typical but when it came down to it to put their money where their mouth is, they wanted me to pay $1000 upfront to them so they could send me a contract. !!!!Now that’s the most insane thing I’ve ever heard in my life and of course there’s nothing in writing as to what would happen after I sent the money to them.But because this was so insane and I had some time on my hands, I wanted to see what other insanities they would require from me. They required all the normal paperwork for a loan but when it came down to it, they kept lowering the Offer. Of course, this is throughout about a week worth of constant phone calls, and texts.They insisted that I send them $1000 and I insisted that they send me a contract to look over before I would send them $1000. They refused.Then I started getting texts from Cesar. He sent me videos of the Dept that he works in at Gemini. He sent me a partial picture of his drivers license. He began texting me and telling me all about his background and his childhood and his political and religious views which I graciously listened - Neither agreeing or disagreeing.Then he began to text me that Republicans and Democrats are stupid and that he is an independent. Well, I explained to him one sure way to kill a deal is to talk about politics, religion and especially his opinion.He then began harassing me because I refused to send in the $1000 since I didn’t have an agreement to look over and then he actually got mad and told me that I was a pedophile lover. !!!!! I had inadvertently disagreed with one of his political views.So although this company is registered I have contacted my state Attorney General’s office so that they could look into Gemini Business Funding. I have filed a complaint along with all the copies and screenshots of everything that was sent to me, Including the harassing and slanderous remarks.What ethical business would bully customers trying to force them into sending them $1,000 With no proof or agreement whatsoever of anything???? What ethical business would allow their employees to harass customers???Gemini Business Funding is responsible and liable for the actions of their employees.And yes it is 12-18% interest PLUS their ‘fees’ of around 10% of whatever your loan amount would be. So on a $200k loan you would pay them around $20k and still pay 12 to 18% on the 200,000 instead of the balance of 180,000In every state there are over 5000 of these companies out there. I am learning about them and I am learning how they get their funding. Who are the people that would fund your business???? And where the heck are they getting the money?????Because these are not banks that are lending you money.**** NOTE: GEMINI just flagged my review for illegal or defamatory or offensive content. Well, hey Gemini, you tell the state Attorney General’s office that and you explain to them how you misrepresent clients. Also, my property value hasn’t changed in a week nor has it changed in the past four months except to increase. So Gemini is stating a non-fact. I won’t let this go. Customers need to be aware that these practices are not ethical.
