Although there is not always a direct link to microfiche films, the reference number is provided, allowing the original films to reviewed on the Familysearch.org website. When I couldn't find any more info on one of my relatives, Gendatabase advised that I apply for a vault copy of the birth certificate and even helped me to obtain the identity number. The membership fee of just under R300 for a month's access is very reasonable.
